TRAUMA BUBBLES AND ENERGETIC CORDS

TRAUMA BUBBLES AND ENERGETIC CORDS

What is trauma? Cyndi Dale, an American spiritual healer, describes trauma as “the cause of a challenge, including the challenge of chronic illness.”

After the initial trauma, a stress response can trigger further challenges.

Some common types of trauma include:

  • PHYSICAL TRAUMA– such as accidents, injuries, physical abuse, violence, sexual abuse, pain, disease etc.
  • PSYCHOLOGICAL TRAUMA– emotional, verbal psychological and moral abuse, learning difficulties, PTSD, grief, anxiety, depression, co-dependency, addictions, allergies, aging, financial and relationship problems.
  • ENVIRONMENTAL TRAUMA– pollution, geo-pollution, electromagnetic toxicity, sound toxicity, natural disasters etc.

So what happens when we experience trauma?

The damaged or injured part of the psyche is encapsulated in a ‘trauma bubble’, where it remains trapped until it is released and healed. The ‘wounded self’ inside the bubble continues playing out the thoughts, feelings and emotions related to the trauma, while the rest of the self continues on with life.

The ‘wounded self’ in the bubble remains frozen in time, re-experiencing the energy of the trauma endlessly. As many traumas happen in childhood, inner child work is often used to connect with (and heal) those aspects of ourselves.

Over time if they are not addressed, these traumas become entrenched, causing secondary issues or triggering trauma cycles.

For example, if a girl was sexually abused as a child, she is at greater risk of being sexually abused as an adult*. On an energetic/subtle level, the emotional and psychological damage carries a ‘charge’, which can attract additional similar traumas. This often sets up a trauma cycle, where the victim is caught up in a victim/abuser scenario.

In my experience, these trauma bubbles appear over chakras, and I deal with them by removing the wounded self and sending it to Source for healing. It will return to the client when fully healed.

What can complicate matters is the presence of energetic cords. I often find cords together with trauma bubbles in chakras, and usually they are related. Sometimes I find one or more energetic cords attached to a trauma bubble. These can connect to people in the client’s life related to the trauma, or sometimes something that happened in a past life.

Usually the past life traumas have some bearing on the client’s current life, and often the cycle will be repeating a pattern of behaviour already well entrenched.

As a simple example, a regular client of mine has problems with her son, who can be domineering and bullying. She herself is a quiet and gentle person, and finds it difficult to confront him about his behaviour. There was a past life trauma bubble where she was thrown into the workhouse because her narcissistic son gambled away all her money and treated her badly.

A cord connected her past life to her present, and there was also a cord between her and her son which reinforced this particular dynamic. Interestingly, he has problems holding down a job and is hopeless with money.

What are energetic cords?

I usually find two different types of cords on people: cords and threads.

Cords get thicker the longer they are in place, so if they were connected recently they will be thinner than past life cords from 1000 years ago. I have removed cords from people that were a hand span thick, while others are like spaghetti.

Threads, on the other hand, are very thin. Some are only a hair’s breadth thick, but they can be more insidious than cords because they are interspersed through different lives and realities of the person. If the threads are disturbed or moved (i.e. by a clumsy healer!) it can trigger past life emotions or affect current timelines. I have to be careful when I’m removing these.

Energetic cords connect people to people, past life situations or current life situations. They can also connect to negative entities, energies or family ancestors.

They can be found connected to a chakra, an organ, a meridian, the auric field or just about any area in the body.

Imagine that each person or past/present life situation is like an electric socket with a cord plugged in both ends. Energy travels along the cord, either to or from the person. Old emotions from past lives or situations can also come through the cords, or energy can go one way, draining the person.

If someone has suffered trauma at the hand of another person (eg. violence) a cord will connect perpetrator and abuser. Even if the attack only happened once, the abuser pulls positive life energy from the victim via the cord, and pushes their negative energy into the same place in the victim.

A regular client of mine presented with adrenal fatigue, and after a couple of weeks of daily healing he saw no appreciable improvement.

When I went deep into his root chakra, I discovered a thick cord connecting him to a past life nine hundred years ago when he was a fierce warrior. He was a very angry individual, and also hypervigilant, always on the lookout for trouble. These emotions were feeding into my client in his current life, causing anger issues and the adrenal fatigue syndrome, as he was always on ‘high alert’. This was compounded by his life energy being drained out through the cord. His adrenals were having to work super hard to keep up, causing his health problems.

After the cord was removed, his energy began to recalibrate naturally, helped by him cutting down on caffeine and eating more healthily.

There is a lot of terrible advice online about ‘cord cutting’, where people are advised to ‘cut’ negative energetic cords. To go back to the electricity analogy, that is like cutting a live wire with  pair of scissors.

This leaves two open ends with charged energy sparking out. These charges will continue to send out and attract matching vibrations, and soon the cord will reattach, either with the original person or someone with similar issues.

Another reason we shouldn’t be randomly hacking and severing energy cords is that most people don’t attend to the underlying issue. We need to know and understand why the cord is there before removing it.

So what do we need to do if we find energy cords or threads? I investigate the reason for it being there, then disconnect the cord at both ends.

If a cord connects to a negative entity, the entity needs to be dealt with before the cord is removed, otherwise it will simply reattach. Other unhealthy contracts need investigated as well, because often there will be a soul contract or vow to release as well-if you’re not thorough the entity, being or past life will continue to stick to the person and leech their energy.
