One Two Three

As promised, Catherine phoned me for another Quantum Hypnosis appointment around six months after her previous one. She was excited at the prospect of connecting with Duncan once again, and was curious to know what the future held in store for her.

As usual, we chatted for what seemed like hours. Catherine told me she still missed him sorely, and put on a brave face to hide her pain from friends and family.

For this session, she was quite clear: she wanted to go back to see other lifetimes where she had been happy with Duncan.

Her first lifetime took her back to an American city in the 1900s. She felt excited and nervous as she stepped out of a motor car and onto a busy sidewalk. She was wearing a beautiful long black dress embellished with lace and a large black hat. She realised that she was wearing black because her mother had passed away, and that she was meeting Duncan for lunch. Her mother in that life was none other than Granny Grey, which explained why she had such a close bond with her.

As she waited outside a very exclusive restaurant she told me that she was nervous and anxious, because she had something to tell Duncan that he didn’t want to hear.

‘Oh, he’s a handsome man!’ she exclaimed, as she saw Duncan approaching her. His long arms enveloped her in a tight hug as she stared into his lovely brown eyes. ‘Oh, I’ve missed you! It’s so good to see you! He grinned.

As he ushered her through the door of the restaurant, the familiar feelings of pure love swept through her, but tinged with anticipation and anxiety. He hadn’t seen her for a while because she was nursing her mother, who she was very close to, through her final days. Her mother had left her a very wealthy woman.

She swallowed her fear and told him her news. Her mother’s death had affected her badly, and she wasn’t ready to marry him- it was too soon and her grief was too fresh. Although Duncan was unhappy to wait, he agreed to keep her happy.

Moving on to another important day, we interrupted Catherine in the middle of birthing her first child, a girl. Although young, she was ready to be a mother and Duncan was by her side. Duncan was a prosperous builder, and when I asked how wealthy they were Catherine answered with her usual humour ‘You should see the size of the ring I’ve got!’

The next scene showed the couple attending a big society New Year’s Ball. At this point, they had three children, and Catherine told me that they didn’t go out much, because they preferred to spend their time with each other and their children. Their society peers didn’t understand them because they were different.

The next scene took us to a hospital, where Catherine waited, distraught, for news. ‘Duncan has fallen from a building! He’s covered in blood. I’m not allowed to see him.’

The final scene took us to Catherine’s deathbed. She had a bad cough, and looked very old and frail. Surounded by her family, she took her last breath. ‘Thank God that’s over!’ she laughed. ‘Where is he?’

Duncan, as always, appeared and took her hand. ‘I’m here. I’ve always been here for you and always will be.’

Catherine saw them both in her current life; dancing together along the road, laughing and talking about their dreams together. Duncan was so happy because he had her. Although Duncan laughed a lot, he had a serious side. ‘Don’t worry-you’ll dance again. I want you to dance and laugh again. Just pick yourself up and get on with it!’

Duncan explained that they were living parallel lives, close but unable to touch. He told her he still had a lot of healing and soul development to do, but he couldn’t get on with it while Catherine still clung to him. ‘I’ve done nothing. I’ve watched you, I’ve picked you up off the floor, and now I have to go. We made a deal…’

With a shock, I realised what Duncan was saying. He was a spirit attachment! When I asked him where in Catherine’s body he was, he said ‘Her heart.’ He said he was withering away, because Catherine was holding on to him. He promised that she would feel better when she let him go, but he needed her permission. It was almost like he was being held prisoner.

When I asked Catherine to let him go, her tears began to flow. ‘I don’t want to let him go! Can I go with him? Give me a minute! Give me a minute…’

When she was ready, I asked Archangel Michael to help Duncan out and up to the Light, where he would continue his healing and soul’s evolution. ‘I see a wing!’ Catherine exclaimed, as Michael gently guided Duncan away, saying ‘Don’t worry! I’ll be gentle with him!’

Catherine’s Higher Self came in, and gave Catherine a big hug. She said that Catherine’s heart space was all raggedy round the edges, because Duncan was taking up so much space. She sealed it with love and happy memories.

Her Higher Self explained that her stubbornness had caused her Spirit Council to become involved, pleading with her to release Duncan, but she just couldn’t let him go. She said that it was like a weight had been lifted off her shoulders now, and she was free to move forward without anger.

They had both found peace, and her life was ready to open up again…
